Fully equipped and staffed bars as well as catering options will ensure you have the best hospitality Ashburton has to offer. Drinks and confectionery from our premises can be taken into the Auditorium for you to enjoy during the show.
The Event Centre staff are more than happy to sit with you and plan your event according to your needs – we are experts at transforming our spaces into purpose appointed areas, taking care of all necessary points to make your event a true success.
Catering
Our team of dedicated bar staff and caterers are here to make your next catered event a success. We work closely with local suppliers who provide the best seasonal produce from the surrounding district and the finest in culinary skills.
From breakfast meetings, morning and afternoon tea, lunches, supper and beautiful buffet or plated meals for up to 120 people, we will work with you to create a menu to suit your clients tastes and your budget.
We have two fully stocked bars (Bradford Function Room and Woodham Foyer) We will take the time to meet with you to discuss your ideas and offer advice on your next event.
Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Vegan and Dairy Free options available on request.
Ticket Management
The Ashburton Event Centre is proud to manage our own ticketing with assistance from PatronBase.
All ticketed events held in the Event Centre can be found right here on our website or by purchasing from our friendly team through the box office.
If you are looking at holding an event anywhere in the district, we can assist you with providing a professional ticketing service that will allow your tickets to be purchased online and through the box office. We can handle all of your clients questions allowing you the freedom to get on and organise the event.
About the Ashburton District
Ashburton is the hub of the Mid Canterbury District. With a population of 36,300 it is the districts commercial and agricultural service centre, providing services to the farming district.
Located on State Highway 1, just one hour drive south of the Christchurch International Airport, Ashburton is a vibrant and busy town with many community and sports facilities nearby, including:
